The curated database, NED InfoBites, NED Expert Reviews, NED plain language summaries and categorisation, NED Journal articles, and any other proprietary or licensed content made available on the Site.

NED

Abbreviation for the Nutrition Evidence Database.

Site

The Nutrition-Evidence.com database.

Subscribed Users

Users who subscribe to receive mailing alerts. These may or may not be holders of a user account.

Subscription Term

The period in which users opt into receiving NED alerts.

User Account

An optional registration-based feature enabling users to save searches and tag favorites.

2. License and Access

BANT grants all users a limited, non-exclusive, revocable, and non-transferable license to access and use the Site and its Licensed Materials for informational, educational, and non-commercial purposes.

Creating an account is optional for advanced features, but not required for general access.

3. Ownership and Intellectual Property

BANT is the owner or licensee of all content published on the Site, including expert reviews, summaries, infographics, article categorisation, and the NED Journal.

• Share Expert Reviews and plain language summaries with attribution to the original authors and NED.
• Share abstracts only of NED Journal articles, with attribution to NED and the paper’s authors.

You may not:

• Copy, reproduce, or republish entire articles or collections from the Site without prior written permission.
• Compile Licensed Materials into another searchable database.
• Use Site content for commercial distribution or advertising.

The content on Nutrition-Evidence.com is for informational purposes only. The views expressed in enhanced content are those of the individual experts and do not constitute medical advice.
