Abstract

Pediatric Restless Sleep Disorder (RSD) is emerging as a distinct entity in sleep medicine, characterized by restless and disruptive sleep patterns in children and adolescents. RSD presents unique challenges in diagnosis and management due to its distinct features not fitting into existing diagnostic criteria for other sleep disorders like Restless Legs Syndrome or Periodic Limb Movement Disorder. This article will present the current knowledge on pediatric RSD, with emphasis on its recognition and treatment.
